Lots and Lots of Blooms

I walked outside this morning to check on the plants in Bella Jardin’s garden area, and was blown away by all the color and pollinators that greeted me. That’s one thing about native, nativar, and, yes, even some of the tough adapted plants, they usually keep grinding the blooms out even in the heat of the summer. I was so excited to see everything looking so beautiful, and thought you might want to see it too. So come along with me on a tour of Bella’s garden.

Sidebar: I didn’t use a filter on any of these pics. Those blues on the ‘Black and Blue’ Salvia and the Sinaloan Blue Sage are the true colors of the flowers. Amazingly beautiful. Click on each pic to get the name of the plant. I’ll do a video soon of all the pollinators visiting the garden.

Happy diggin’ in the dirt.

Oh my goodness …

Ziva and I went on a road trip today to pick up our plant order from our favorite native plant supplier. Oh y’all. I swear that supplier has the absolute prettiest plants I’ve seen. I got a great mixture of super cool native plants and oh so amazing introduced plants (here’s the post listing all the plants we got), and, man, I swear I just want to keep them all for my garden and not sell any of them to you! lol But I’ll be nice and let y’all buy them all. I’ll start adding them to the Boutique tomorrow, so y’all keep checking back. Trust me, you will not be disappointed.

New Plants Are Coming!

Coralbean

Hello, y’all. Ziva and I have been very busy these past two days picking up plants from our suppliers and ordering plants for pick up next week.

We got all those really cool native trees I posted about the other day, with the exception of Willow Oak. Unfortunately, even though the plant is on the availability list it doesn’t always mean my suppliers still have it in stock by the time they get to my order. But I’ll get some of them in as soon as I can find them.

Now, let’s get to the other good part: what we ordered today! The past two weeks y’all have bought almost everything I have in stock, so today I replenished and ordered new, really cool plants. They are:

  • Amorpha fruticosa, Indigo, 1-gallon
  • Capsicum, Chili Pequin, 1-gallon
  • Lindera benzoin, Spicebush, 1-gallon
  • Magnolia Ashei, 3-gallon. Two of these are on hold already. If you know you want one, let me know asap so I can make sure I order enough. You don’t pay for them until I get them in stock.
  • Persea borbonia, Red Bay, 3-gallon
  • Rhododendron c. Phlox Pink, Phlox Pink Wild Azalea, 1-gallon. This is the NATIVE Azalea, y’all! I’m so excited I found a supplier who grows them.
  • Symphoricarpos orbiculatus, Coral Berry, 1-gallon
  • Serenoa repens, Silver Saw Palmetto, 3-gallon. The fronds on this Saw Palmetto are silver! Absolutely stunning.
  • Erythrina herbacea, Mamou Coral Bean, 1-gallon
  • Liatris pycnostachia, Prairie Liatris, 1-gallon
  • Lobelia cardinalis, Cardinal Flower, 1-gallon. These will be blooming soon. You’re gonna thank me for suggesting you buy these for your garden.

I know y’all are waiting to see the pics … here they are! Keep in mind these show mature plants. Another thing I want y’all to remember while looking at these gorgeous plants is all of these, with the exception of four plants, are either natives or nativars to Texas and/or the Southeast US. So y’all shush anyone you ever hear saying that native plants aren’t pretty.

Venmo

Good day to all my fellow flower freaks!

Want y’all to know that I’ve added a Bella Jardins Boutique Venmo account to give you an extra way to pay for all your beautiful plants. Which means now you have options to pay with good ol’ cash, card, Google Pay, or Venmo.

As for ordering your plants, you can order them through the Boutique portion of the website which gives you options to pay with card, Google Pay, or mark as cash on delivery; or you can visit Facebook’s Marketplace where my plants are listed as sold by Jeanni Perry. If you go through Marketplace you simply message me with what you want to order, I send you an order confirmation, then you pay either with cash or Venmo when I deliver all your gorgeous plants. I’m waiting on approval to get a Shop set up on Instagram, will let you know when that happens. Bella’s Facebook page does have a Shop in it, which takes you directly to this website.

I don’t have a mobile card reader at the moment, but will get one if y’all start requesting to pay that way.

I want to thank all of my customers for your business. I always thought this business model would work, and y’all are showing me it will. So together let’s plant more native plants!!

Happy diggin’ in the dirt.
