May Plant Delivery Post

Smooth Hydrangea

Hello from me and Ziva!

A few days ago in a post called Coming Soon To Your Favorite Native Garden Shop I talked about the plants my suppliers are growing for me. Well, one supplier let me know today that a large part of my order is ready to go! Yay! Usually I pick up orders from my suppliers, but this order is way too big to fit in my truck so it is being delivered to me. I don’t have a specific delivery day yet, but it will be about the middle of May, which is only a couple of weeks away. I went ahead and updated the inventory of the plants coming in on that delivery. That means you can go ahead and place your order for them. But please keep in mind that delivery of them to you is 2 – 3 weeks out. You will get email updates of your delivery day when I get them in stock. I made a note on the description pages for all those plants repeating what I just said here because I don’t want y’all to be surprised that your order might take longer to get to you than normal.

Smooth Hydrangea

Smooth Hydrangea

A few months ago I had the beautiful Hydrangea arborescens, Smooth Hydrangea, in stock in 7-gallon size. Y’all loved that plant so much that I sold out of it within a couple of days. Well, I’m happy to say that my awesome native supplier now has the 3-gallon size in stock! They are $22 each, and the plants are 1-2′ tall. They are listed as “available on backorder” in the garden shop. That simply means I don’t have any in stock but my supplier does. So go on ahead and click here: Smooth Hydrangea, to go order yourself some.

Bella’s Buds and Blooms 07/16

Saltmarsh Mallow

I’m starting a new feature on Bella’s website that I think you will like. During the course of each week I’ll take pics of what plants in Bella’s garden and in my personal garden have buds and/or blooms. I’ll make of post once a week of the pics. I’ll also have a new category called “Bloom Calendar.” The Calendar will be broken into Summer, Fall, Winter, and Spring sections with pics of what’s blooming in each timeframe. That way you can easily see what’s blooming when and what the flowers look like.
