02/26 Plant Pick Up Post

Whiteleaf Mountain Mint

Howdy. Before we get to talking about all the beautiful plants we’re getting this week, Ziva and I would like to say a very heartfelt “thank you” to all of our amazing customers. This month has been crazy busy with all the deliveries and visits to Bella’s garden shop, and we are enjoying every minute of it. Y’all have bought so many native plants that we’re sold out on oh so many of them. That, my friends, is not a bad problem to have. No worries though, along with being busy making deliveries, we’re also busy with picking up plants to restock Bella’s shop. So y’all keep buying them, and we’ll keep restocking them.

Keep in mind that if you want a certain plant that’s out of stock, the best thing to do is to get on the waitlist for it. Do that by going to the plant’s description page, look for “Container size,” under that is “choose an option.” Click on “choose an option,” then click on the container size you want. The system will walk you through the steps to get added to the waitlist. Then, when I get more of that plant in stock, you’ll get a handy dandy email letting you know to go buy it!

Now, let’s see what the beautiful Ms Ziva and I are picking up this week.

All of these are Florida native plants

Click on the plant name to be taken to its description page to learn more about it and to see all the pretty pictures of it.

Please keep in mind that this time of year, a lot of the perennials are just starting to break dormancy. Neither my suppliers nor I greenhouse or winter cover any of these plants for the simple fact that they’re native which means they don’t need it. So they are growing at their natural pace and not being forced to grow/bloom out of season. I also don’t do a lot of cleaning out of the dead growth this time of year because if we do get a late very cold snap, the dead growth helps to protect the new growth. They might not be picture perfect this time of year, but they sure will be after they get growing in your garden!

I’m still having issues with the appointment calendar. If you want to pick up your plants here or visit Bella’s garden shop and the appointment calendar isn’t working for you, text, 903-418-6289, or email, jeanni@bellajardins.boutique, and let me know what day and time you’ll be here. Remember that pick up and visiting days are only on Saturdays and Sundays, 11:00 – 4:00, and by appointment only.

Happy diggin’ in the dirt!
