Hello there, my fellow flower freaks. Well, it’s been a pretty crazy time around here for the past three to four weeks. Why, you ask? Well, let me tell ya why.
First, I was working lots out in Bella’s area and, even though I was drinking lots of water and Gatorade, I got heat exhaustion. Yep, I did. So I was down with that for about three days. Got to feeling better, and thought I was gonna get on with life, but no. Life had another pathway for me to go down: Covid. This is the first time I’ve had it, and I want to never get it again. For about two weeks I felt horrible and was in bed or on the couch. I’m finally feeling better, but still have that lingering cough. Hopefully it’ll go away soon.
Thank you, again, to all my very patient customers who were kind enough to postpone their deliveries till next week.
Yesterday I picked up an order from my favorite native plant supplier. I got a few really cool new to Bella plants in stock! It takes anywhere from 30 minutes to an hour or more to add plant description pages to Bella’s website, so what I did this time is just plug in the bare minimum to the plants’ pages. You can go ahead and order the plants, there’s just not much info about them. I’ll finalize the pages over the next few days.
When you’re on The Garden Shop page on the website, if you look for the dropdown box that says “Default sorting,” click on it, then click on “Sort by latest,” it’ll show the plants that were most recently added to the website.
So, here is the list of plants I got. Click on the highlighted name to be taken to the plant’s page to make your order.

Jeanni, the spotted Bee Balm is dying back in a few plants. Should I trim it back to the ground as it dies? I’m finding it needs to be staked. Should I?
