Yesterday Ziva and I did plant pick ups from two of our plant suppliers. One of them was a new-to-me supplier. They specialize in growing native plants, so I was excited when I found them. I’m always a bit apprehensive on the first order from a new supplier because there’s no telling what their plants will look like. Well, I have to say that the moment I drove through the gates into their nursery, I knew I’d found my new favorite native plant supplier!
Their prices are amazing, which means I get to pass those amazing prices to y’all. And their plants are absolutely beautiful. I only got a few plants since it was a first-time order: Oakleaf Hydrangea, Cardinal Flower, Grancy Graybeard, and Elderberry. Click on the plant names to be taken to their description pages. And here are pics of them. If you look closely at the Oakleaf Hydrangea pic, you can see one of the Hercules’ Club trees, Zanthoxylum clava-herculis, in the background on the right hand side.

And these are the beautiful plants we picked up from the other supplier: Ocala Yellow Anise, 3-gallon; Pink Muhly Grass, 1-gallon, and Darrow’s Blueberry, 3-gallon.

Go on ahead and make an order for your favorite ones. You know you want to.
I’ll be going back to that native supplier very soon to pick up more amazing natives for you to put in your gardens.
Happy diggin’ in the dirt!

Do you have any Beach Verbena, Glandularia maritima?
I don’t at the moment. I’ll check with my suppliers and let you know. Thanks for asking!
