Description: Coreopsis is always a popular choice for the perennial garden. The Uptick™ series features tidy, mounding habit, impressively large, bi-colored flowers. This series is made of strong growers that bloom May to September. ‘Uptick Red’ offers the biggest flowers and most striking coloration of dark red flowers with yellow tips on the petals. It grows 1-2′ tall and wide. It keeps its neat shape and performs well all summer long. Does great in containers or in garden beds. Must have good drainage. Likes sun to part sun, with some shade from too much hot afternoon sun. Attracts bees and butterflies. Deer resistant. Is a good cut flower.
