Brugmansia Double Pink

Botanical Name:  Brugmansia

Common Name:  Double Pink Brugmansia, Double Pink Angel’s Trumpet

Description:   Texas adapted perennial small tree. Stunningly beautiful pink double flowers on this Brugmansia repeat bloom from late Spring till Fall. Fast growing to  6-8′ tall x 4-6′ wide, a mature plant can produce dozens of fragrant, trumpet-shaped flowers that are 10 -12″ long which is glorious to see. The fragrance is usually stronger in the evenings to attract pollinating moths. Give it part sun, with shade from the extreme heat of the late afternoon sun. Can be grown either in the ground or in a large container. It likes a moist but well drained soil, and is not considered drought tolerant.

All parts of this plant are toxic if eaten, so be careful if you have children or pets who like to nibble. Or you could be like me and plant it in your Poison Garden.

Hardiness Zones 8 – 11
